Description

Supersonic Bridge Racing is a fast-paced racing game where the player controls the track. The idea started as a 1v1 local-multiplayer in which one player builds the track and the other races on it with a spaceship at the same time. Building the track in real-time is a new, exciting dynamic and creates a lot of variance in the gameplay. Competition is a central aspect of the game. In the single-player mode you try to beat your own ghost and compare yourself with others on a global leaderboard. In the local-multiplayer the players fight for points and victories in short and action packed rounds.

Features

  • Player takes control of the track (flying race)
  • The player races their own, unique track
  • Personal bests and ghosts to motivate the player to improve her/himself
  • Single-player mode with campaigns
    • Each campaign has multiple levels
    • Global leaderboard and stars to collect for each level
    • Multiple different racers for the player to unlock
    • Multiple different builders for the player to unlock
    • Colors to unlock (usable like skins)
  • Asymmetric local multiplayer experience
  • Fast-paced and action-packed rounds
  • Neon/Tron look

About Stumi Games

I am Michael Robin Stucki and Supersonic Bridge Racing originally started in a Game Module in my Digital Ideation studies at HSLU. The concept of controlling the track real-time was new and refreshing and has proven to have some qualities from the first prototype onwards. I developed the concept further as my Bachelors Project and had the opportunity to create a new prototype in the «Check Your Game» program from Pro Helvetia.

Since November 2022, I am working as a VR Game developer at OZWE. Currently, we are creating a game on behalf of Meta Platforms Inc. which is called Citadel. It is an action-adventure with RPG features. Due to a non-disclosure agreement, I am not allowed to say much, but go and check it out on your meta quest!
